Over the years many suppliers are no longer manufacturing heat exchangers or have changed their company name making the replacement of an existing heat exchanger difficult. <p>In many cases heat exchangers are incorporated with other process systems such as; oil coolers or aftercoolers on a compressor or steam coils in a dryer. Often the equipment is manufactured overseas and the heat exchangers were not manufactured in North America. Replacement of this equipment can be difficult, expensive and time consuming.
